The present situatioin in Kerala is that there is more rubber trees than coconut trees. This is due to the increase in demand of rubber than coconut products.
More than that the income from rubber plants are much more than coconut tress. There is no steady price for coconut, but the price of rubber is almost steady.
So in future there will be more Rubber Trees in Kerala than Coconut tree. More and more people are planting rubber trees which will result in vanishing of coconut trees from Kerala
